Support for Proposed Ogden/Malan Development I authorize this statement of support to be sent in the form of a letter to key decision makers.

“Dear City Council, Planning Commission and
WSU Decision Makers I support the development concept proposed by Chris Peterson and the Administration of Ogden City including:

• A gondola system connecting the transportation hub in central Ogden to the base of the mountain near Weber State University and continuing up into Malan’s Basin where a year round mountain resort will be built.
• The concept of selling Mount Ogden Golf Course in return for a much improved course open to the public with special “locals” fees.
• Real estate development around the course which will bring in additional tax dollars to help our city grow.
• An improved and expanded trail system.
• The sale of University property above 36th street for improvements in the course and for real estate development, the proceeds from this land can be applied to any number of campus needs including the purchase of buildable land or construction of additional parking facilities.

I authorize this statement to be sent as a letter to each of you.”
